Have just bought this one on a whim so thought I'd best ask retrospectively if it's any good :) it's seems small but I guess it only needs to cook up a few burgers and drumsticks and the compact size will be good for stowage.. came with the cover and rail mount which I think were originally extras and it has an integral regulator.

I can't find any others on ebay but would be worth keeping an eye out for a similar one.. at £44 I think it's a decent buy

Thought by the timings it might have been you who got it! I've seen custom built ones that shape but they'd cost I don't know how much. Enjoy...

I've had a larger model for quite a few years now, gas one, great BBQ, but spares will be a problem, as they do not make them anymore. I did manage to find a couple of parts, through the company that took the BBQ division over, but only a burner and flavour plate.

hopefully I'll not need the parts but I know who to ask if I do ;) the chap selling it says I'll need a regulator but reading the online manual it says don't double regulate, do you pop a regulator on the bottle too? thanks

Force 10 BBQ's like that are on every second boat over here - Canada.
They were very popular and I think well made.
They were made in British Columbia and taken over a year or two ago by a company called Kuuma, who are still selling marine BBQ's, but not that model.
Should work well for you!

Yes, you need a normal bottle regulator, the one on the machine is purely a regulating valve for the amount being burnt, not the supply pressure.

If I need any parts then I will contact you!!

took receipt of the bbq today, only 14in in length with a cooking area of just 13in by 7in but plenty of room there for a few burgers, drumsticks etc to feed me and the family on the water... cracking bit of kit, looks very well made and fired up first time.... small enough to be stowed easily in one of the side lockers leaving the rail mount brack in place permanently.. the fishtail bracket simply slots in to the mount and detaches from the bbq with a couple of thumbscrew nuts, should take no longer to fire up than a couple of minutes.. very happy with it :)

Mounting Help

Can anyone send a picture or explain how I get the mounting bracket into the BBQ itself? It has the two pocket slots in the bottom, with the flat plate on top of the mounting rod that looks like it fits right in there with a single set screw, but I cant figure out how to get that plate to fit in the BBQ. Any hints or tips on this? Its the standard log style force 10 bbq. I just cant figure out how to get the mount into it... I have them both in my hands as we speak. Help anyone?
