I have published a video on YouTube showing how to follow the channels into the Marina
Mersea channel to Tollesbury Marina

Glad you liked the film, they are dredging but it is fairly slow.is there a speed limit
Lovely film, thanks, have they dredged the marina recently?
We draw 1.4 metres, the tide gauge indicates the height of water over the sill in feet. So in our case there is water enough when the gauge shows between 4 and 5 feet. There are several boats drawing 2 metres or more in the marina. Call Phin Franklin the harbour master on 01621 869202, he will advise you on earliest time to get in. The video was taken about 50 minutes before HW as we entered the marina.Very useful thanks. Am planning to go in there for a few nights week after next. We draw 1.6m - am I likely to get in and out of a berth okay around high tide ish?

Best talk to Phin Franklin the harbour masterMore to the point is, will I go aground as the tide recedes before the sill does it’s job? What’s the likely min depth at the berths. 2m would be adequate. Don’t want to get in there then spend the night at an uncomfortable list!
Ive a draft of 1.6 m with a wing keel, that doesn’t sink into the slurp quite so readily.
