Flood warnings as well!

I am getting updates at work, predictions for the Orwell and Stour are not good. No firm heights, but I am now worried about the boat. ( Pontoon at Fox's.) (any news Roger?)
Manningtree could potentially be hit badly. Just waiting for the call outs to start.
I would check your travel plans and cancel, if they include Norfolk, Suffolk, and Essex Coastal tomorrow.

I'm on board at RH! By the look of things if the tidal height goes above 6m then we may well be in trouble.

Dinghy park wise, the water is as currently as far as the crane.

Do you mean the Ajax crane? That is a long way!!

Harwich gauge shows that the surge is dropping back quite quickly now, at 23-00 it was 2.37, now only 1.92, so with luck the surge will drop as fast as tide rises in the next 90 mins, so total height may not change much, the total height is also showing a dip so perhaps it has peaked?

The water level has noticeably dropped here, hopefully the worst has now passed.

Foxs all good and water receding. Big up to the workforce for moving nearly all of the boats from the 'meadow'. There sre numerous boat owners owing them a beer or three for their efforts. Thanks go to those who arranged for the piles to have additional pieces welded on. Not needed in the end but massive peace of mind. Actually thanks to everyone who turned out tonight to help.
