Foxs all good and water receding. Big up to the workforce for moving nearly all of the boats from the 'meadow'. There sre numerous boat owners owing them a beer or three for their efforts. Thanks go to those who arranged for the piles to have additional pieces welded on. Not needed in the end but massive peace of mind. Actually thanks to everyone who turned out tonight to help.
The water level has noticeably dropped here, hopefully the worst has now passed.

Shotley Marina 0031: Local resident Max Wardley says the water levels at Shotley Marina is "pretty high already". It is not yet high tide, but Mr Wardley says the water has "now come over the loch gates and into the marina".
Tide height rising again at Harwich, dropped from 5.4m to 5.25m now 5.3m but surge height down to 1.4m from 2.37m max. Not out of the woods yet.Now 12.40 and the water has not risen much, if at all, lately here at Mersea, although high tide is not until 2.00am

In fact the tide was schedules to be 5.65 metres high, and it probably rose to about 6.00, that is all
