I decided I would be better & happier o/b. arrived 20 mins ago. the pontoons are all lashed together across the openings. sea dweller still afloat, I have checked her lines. the marina staff are on duty. will keep you posted as long as the wifi holds out
I wondered about popping down to Shotley, but don't really have time. Might go tomorrow to check. Hopefully all will be well, but a number of local marinas must be considering whether they need to urgently increase the height of the piles retaining the pontoons.

Harwich tide gauge now 2.1m above prediction.
