plus red boards and chertsey lock out of commission so no winter boating to be had. Amazed walking along the towpath how many boats are just tied up and left with sub optimal results. One decent sized cruiser fully under water. One cuddy size ditto on the laleham public mooring and one washed up at the lock. Plus a few others looking in peril all for the sake of adjusting mooring lines and keeping water the right side of the hull. Even a small boat is worth a few bob surely and therefore worth a bit of attendance especially with plenty of warning of rain in the offing?
