I was getting 0-0.1 watts with my original 40w, but after connecting the 80w I got a total of 0.2 watts Result!.
Probably leave my fridge till summer haha.
I was hoping to see more of an improvement but it was cloudy and it is January.

So the weather is not improving. Still in December 2024 here.

Presumably your .2 watts is what goes into the battery. Perhaps the battery is well charged and not taking current. Though of course the anmoun t of sunshine determines available power to charge battery. I would suggest temporarily connect the panel directly to battery via an amp meter (no controller) then try to orient the panel towards the sun at midday. This will indicate capabilities of panel at that time. ol'will

The UK has been lost in a thick blanket of High Pressure system winter fog for days, it feels like we would need to consult our ancestors to know where the Sun ought to be…

Sun ?

Flying has been badly disrupted for the last few days due to mist / fog. I don't think that I have seen the sun for at least a week due to the weather.
Fog causes disruptions to UK flights for second day

Is it fitted the right way up?

How are you displaying watts? Most use an ampere meter and volt meter. Rare to have a watt meter.

Good suggestion to bypass the controller temporarily to prove the panel works and that the controller is not to blame.

Visiting my boat yesterday, accidentally left house bank on a hole week unattended. The only thing was I had left my gas solenoid on at fuse switch. 12 volt , think it pull around. 0.3A . Enough drain in 7 days to get my bank low.. 200 watts of solar aint any good if no sun , didn't do enough on the last two days ...
Note ts self # switch off #

Come mr sunshine

If it wasn't working he wouldn't have gone from 0.1 to 0.2 watts. Would he  :ROFLMAO:

Interesting here are my figures up until 20/12/2024 when I was last down at the boat. Given the weather since then I am not expecting more from my badly placed 200 watts of panels.

Total Yield (Wh)
810.00
Average Daily Yield (Wh)
45.00
Max Yield (Wh)
80.00
Total Yield Ah (Wh/12)
67.50
Average Daily Ah (Wh/12)
3.75
Max Yield Ah (Wh/12)
6.67

That seems low ,my 80 w panels each show 0,5A or 6w even on an overcast day in winter?
