MYSELF AND A FRIEND WISH TO GO FISHING THIS WEEKEND, WE HAVE AN INFLATABLE WITH AN 8HP , WE ARE FROM WEST MIDS AND DONT WANT TO TRAVEL TO FAR APPROX 120MILES ,THOUGHT ABOUT SOUTH OF WESTON ARE THERE ANY NICE QUIET FISHING VILLAGESWITHINNS PREF, GOING SAT MORN BACK SUN,PLEASE HELP?

I would not recommend using an inflatable with an 8 in the Bristol Channel - the tides are huge and few safe ports of refuge. I don't know the size of your boat, but if it's less than about 4 meters then I would forget about going out to sea, also do you have all the appropriate safety equipment such as lifejackets, anchor, flares, VHF, compass etc. If you do then why not consider somewhere such as Plymouth where you can stay within the breakwater in relative safety.
