Fisher 38 trawler

Hi there,, I'm trying to find some information about the Fisher 38 Trawler yacht (not the motorsailer)
The main bit of info I need is the air draft from water line to top of dummy smoke stack rather than top of steadying mast/sail.

In the link below there is a small side profile drawing in the photos.
If we assume that the overall length is 38', then one can scale approximately off the drawing - I calculate approx 4 metres (or just over 13') from waterline to the top of the smokestack.

Clever thinking on the scale measurement M. I like the concept of the boat a lot, even as old as they are now.
The Ancasta one for sale in France has clearly had a serious and appealing renovation compared to the first one, but reading the spec details, hardly anything about machinery and electronics but plenty about the fabrics and cosmetics?

I have looked at the one advertised in France online several times and been tempted. Quite like the concept and it looks a tidy boat but not quite sure it would work for us. The ad does talk about systems being upgraded where required and the engines were overhauled in 2009.

I've looked at the advert for the one in France many time, been for sale for a while.

Funny enough my brother forwarded me the advert only a few days ago thinking it might be of interest. Proper little ships. But....to single hand I'm not sure it would be the best.

Thanks Andiemac. I did the same exercise and arrived at a similar air draft. I have found the air draft with mast up listed on one of the boats available details.

As in a lack of easy access through bulwarks to the pontoon, rather than over the transom J?

Those nice side decks would have to be a good positive though

This was called the "Fairways 38", wasn't it?

I recall a white one at Chichester Yacht Basin 40 years ago, "Noah's Ark". Years later we saw her somewhere else. Instantly identifiable.

Fabulous imposing design. Why weren't more built? I guess at over 16 tonnes, the fuel consumption is like a modern 50+ footer.
