First time Bareboat Charter in Croatia

Would seem to be a navigational guide to Adriatic Croatian coast translation from the local version plus I see a guide to marinas from the Croatian national tourist office . This might be the Adriatic pilot you mention .

That's easily done, the bays are gorgeous and many places have waterside restaurants with mooring buoys or small jetties. Restaurant Maestral at Okuklje for example, was a bit rolly in there one night but lovely.

Photo taken from the balcony of Maestral in Okuklje. :)

You can just see us anchored on the right hand side poking out from behind the trees. It was very still when we were there but it all depends upon wind/swell direction, of course.

Maestral, like many, also has a free small pontoon for those eating there. We had a lovely evening with the family who own the konoba and bought some little models made out of seashells by their two little girls. At least they were little in 2014 .... they'll almost be teenagers by now. :ambivalence:

Thanks both

It's a shame that's a lot further South than we are planning to go, looks beautiful !

Love this place :)

Also a recommendation for two more restaurants with this set up: Sismis in Sesula on Solta near Maslinica (a bit further North for the OP!) and Lonely Paradise on South side of Solta.

Further north, we liked Konoba Zmara on Zut. Not cheap but great fish served and free mooring.

We were in Okuklje in early May following a wet and windy on the nose passage from Korkula. We moored stern to a restaurant towards the top left of the photograph - the name escapes me.

We also stopped on Zut this year but at free stern to mooring if using the restaurant Konoba Sandra next to the ACI in the bay above.

We also enjoyed Sesula but was purely a lunch anchorage on a passage from Milna to Trogir on a 2018 charter. We used the quieter Marina Vlaska in Milna. The ACI was much noisier with a couple of German party cats when we walked into town. Milna was almost half the price of Palmizana too!!

Welllll I am supposed to be working and filehosting sites are blocked on our network. Everyone will just have to rely on your photo and my good word that it's a lovely spot :p

I understand. I enjoy looking at photos that others have taken in Croatia as it brings back 10 years of great memories and also acts a catalyst to visit new places. There are many that we have sailed to simply because they were mentioned on here. :)

Likewise, we fell in love with photos of Croatia then we visited and fell in love a bit more. We've been there on charter 8 times in 3 years and are back there a week today for a survey on a boat we are buying (and then keeping) there. Our hobby escalated and got expensive pretty quickly!

Brilliant ... where is the boat? What is she?

Baska Voda (she'll stay there)... an Elan 384 Impression. We think she's a good'un but don't want to count our chickens until the survey is done!

Baska is a nice spot, we've got friends with a Cat there. Let me know if the purchase works out and I can put you in touch.
