first 211 stemhead fitting

I want to replace the alloy stem head fitting on my first 211 with a bow roller .has any one tried this ? how easy/difficult/ possible is it to do?

Perhaps a picture and more details might help.

Some heads have an extension of the forestay that continues via a rod or plate to the inside of the bow, some bolt thru', others rely on the place and a curved edge that overlaps the bow.

On the bright side, there are very few that can not be fitted with a bow roller; a very necessary bit of bit of kit on any boat.
