Lovely people, used to pay us a fortune for chartering our boats, very little trouble apart from the H2S.

Personally after considerable thought I have decided against it. Although statistically 60% of American boats are armed by their own admission and a lot of others I know have hidden firearms on board. Some countries, Mexico for example do not permit yachts to carry guns, period, so you have to hide them when you are there. I have never known anybody to be caught with illegal fire arms on board. I have also only ever talked with one person who swears blind that firearms have saved his ass and that was off the coast of Haiti, and I think most people know to stay away from there.
