She's going back in the drink on March 22nd!
I'm shuddering at the thought of the cost, but have booked:
Hull polish and antifoul.
Both engines to be fully serviced inc. filters and impellers
All through fittings to be checked and dealt with.
Other bits and bobs such as Anodes to be done if ness.
The idea is to leave her afloat for around three years, so I don't want to have to pay for another lift unless tragedy strikes, so I figure the only way is to do the lot.
Obviously engine oil etc can be changed from time to time along with the usual sort of 'afloat' stuff...
The idea is to be ready for Bray CC's fitting out cruise, all we will need to do is clean and prepare the topsides and interior if my plans work out OK!
Then, another year terrorising the poor old boating community!
We have plans to take her up to Osney, down to St Kats and the Barrier, along with a few cruises with Bray and the usual weekend jaunts, and are both looking forward to meeting old friends!
