I have all the guesstimate mileages..... but do I post them?...
Will boats sail to the guesstimate...? or will they sail regardless..?
Will they take that one extra trip to hit the number...? or will they stick with decorating the hall....?

Interesting one. The prize I understood was for the 'guessee' not for the one sailing. Personally I will do what I can this season regardless and have forgotten the exact mileage I was given to 'achieve' - somewhere about 1500 but will use it as a target to fail at!

I thought the intention was to try and exceed the guestimate. The winner being the one who exceeded by most. Not sure if that was empirical miles or as a percentage though.

Don't worry, you escaped. Chellers was targetted with 3nm (I suppose that is 1.5 per hull?) - I got over 1500! Now with 'full' time employment
and a non sailing family I think I may struggle so if you want some of my miles you are welcome to them!
