Fatlama scam

I have my boat up for sale and I received a text saying they don't want to buy but want to rent and will do it through FATLAMA.COM so that all insurance is covered. I suspected a scam so politly declined. Today another text saying they only want it for 3-4 days and will pay £1800. Sounds too go to be true so I suspect it is. What's their point and has anyone else heard of similar?

Tried ringing the number that the text was from and it's unobtainable so definitely a scam.

The thing with your boat probably was a scam - but thanks for the heads-up on FatLama. That site itself seems to be legit, and might be just what I need to hire a drone for the day to inspect some of my guttering
