After every dive I now scrub off the boat having not anti fouled tghis year and she just gets faster and faster, now cruising at around 14 - 15kts, yes I know, snails pace for most of you but for my semi displacement old girl that's almost warp factor 9!!

Anyway I digress, what a weekend, diving Saturday, loads of scallops, crabs and dover sole, good few hours in Lyme Regis, still my favourite port, specially at high tide, flat calm all day but no sun.

Usual belly full of beer saturday nite (but no fighting!) Sunday wake up to sun streaming thru the hatch, sound of racing boats being launched into Exmouth Docks. Went out to watch the racing. almost as exciting as watching paint dry. Met up with a semi lurker from this forum who suggested a lunch stop in Ansteys Cove. Great idea thort I, had already decided no drink today, too much over the last week or more, so off I headed. Hot, sunny, calm, fresh scallops for lunch along with several bottles of wine and beer, nipped into Torquay for diesel, more beer and back to Exmouth. bolx to drink and skipper regs, drink almost every time I go out and love it, very relaxing.

Just cooked the crab, watery, but the lunch time scallops were superb,

Wot a great weekend, maybe I'll go out again tomorrow!!!

sulk moan complain - my weekend didn't pan out quite that way!
fishing was ****, clearly should have poped over your way instead of anchoring off St Albans Head all day Saturday.
glad you had a good one; going to get that damm tank and regulator this year - those scallop beds off Kimeredge will provide a few nice lunches methinks

Maybe its getting faster because your taking off the gelcoat and the boats getting lighter.

do you do the whole boat everytime or just a small bit and work you way round?

Blue Fisher sea food orders taken here!

Now you tell me!! Ate the crab last nite so I suppose you'll expect me to go out again before Thursday to replenish the stocks.

Oh well, now I know what I'm doing tomorrow!

BTW can you bring down some boat remover, Blue Fisher still looks far too big. How long are you down for?

I can do the whole boat in about 40 minutes or less depending on how much scrubbing I need to do. Usually just snorkel down but much quicker with a cylinder on my back. If I keep on going for the rest of the season it might avoid me having to get the years of old antifouling blasted off!

Re: Blue Fisher sea food orders taken here!

Right. I'll bring a Bucket of Mucky Farters Patented Boat Remover on Thursday. We are stopping till about Monday, well I mean he is. I might send the car back for Tutts, who should be coming down about a week on Saturday.

Swop you boat reducer for Mucky's clean bottom?? Wonder if it would work, if you pour it over the bow and I drove over it. Would that get it clean. Or remove the bottom!!
