well ... the pic sort of looks like Mussolini's paw with a load of them .... onyway it is a mackerel freshly caught and skillfully put away by myself in usual fascist manner whilst tootling down Kerera Sound opposite Aird Na Cuile whilst on the good ship Claymore ... the pic unfortunately only shows the one fish, the others are out of shot in a large basket ...

Now ... this should bring an end to the untruths, insults and other aspersions wrought by others over the last 18 months as to whether i have any ability in the fishing dept

Also note there is no evidence that the hand holding the fish is Parahandy's or that the boat is in fact Claymore.. it's probably a marketing shot from a super market chain advertising how fresh their fish are(n't)..

I dunno but peeps who start threads in denial I think are V suspect and should be treated with EXTREME caution..

It's very small for a mackerel, and I presume it must be the largest of the alleged catch. Seems very suspicious.Haven't seen one that small even off Gilkicker! Most fishermen would have strung the whole catch together and photo'd the lot. I think it's a large minnow that's been painted! Agree it looks deep frozen.

This of course is a set up. Lets look at the evidence

1) Fish obviously sourced from Toys'r'us
2) Clean fleece .. after time spent on Claymore?
3) Pristine red ensign .. on Claymore!!!!
4) Blue sky .. during a scottish summer????
5) Hand .. obviously female
6) neatly wrapped warps in vertical postion

All thse lead me to beleive that this photo was in fact staged somewhere in the Solent in December on a double decker ... am I right?

I would say that the hand was probably doing something else and the
fish was skilfully added afterwards using Photoshop or something
similar.
