It was the incredible noise that got to me!Oh it cleaned our decks OK, wind went from around 13 kts to 57.56 kts in less than a minute according to graph from @GHA. Only complaint from me - IT WOKE ME UP

We get some strange weather events here, a couple of years ago, two tornados came through, luckily either side of boat yard, a year or two before that the airport roof partly lifted off and a couple of 737s changed position on the apron.
Looking east from Faro this afternoon, looked like a good downpour from a CuNim and later on, another over maybe Loule. Fine and sunny on mooring with light breeze

Spoke to a couple of guys this morning who recorded 72 kts during the microburst a couple of days ago. One of them , his fairly light boat (Ejay) moored about 100m from ours, was laid flat.
