Faro this morning

I wonder what caused it? I gather it was very localised, only 30kts at Culatra

We get some strange weather events here, a couple of years ago, two tornados came through, luckily either side of boat yard, a year or two before that the airport roof partly lifted off and a couple of 737s changed position on the apron.

Looking east from Faro this afternoon, looked like a good downpour from a CuNim and later on, another over maybe Loule. Fine and sunny on mooring with light breeze:cool:

an uneventful night at the eastern quiet end of Culatra with Geem. Woke this morning, pigging hot and still, off to Albufeira early doors tomoz morning

an uneventful night at the eastern quiet end of Culatra with Geem. Woke this morning, pigging hot and still, off to Albufeira early doors tomoz morning

Spoke to a couple of guys this morning who recorded 72 kts during the microburst a couple of days ago. One of them , his fairly light boat (Ejay) moored about 100m from ours, was laid flat.

Enjoy you sail tomorrow, hope you don't get mugged by orcas:)
