Assume we are talking about Bruce's Boat Yard?

Yes Bruce's Yard but the marina in question as in the OP post is the marina in the town. On maps it is named as Faro Marina but locally it is called & signposted as the Doca de Recreio. Or something like that lol.

Work seems to have stopped on the excavation, he's having fun playing with the dredger. Planning permission was refused again for a marina ( he refused to grease the necessary palms) but he has got permission for "wet storage"

Its all in the name lol. From what I understand it to mean here is that there will be pontoon berths but these will not have water or electricity supplies.

Yeah that may be correct Graham, but its still blinkin cheap. Less than 6 quid a day all in for a 12M boat gets a big thumbs up from me lol. The yard this winter is nearly full BTW.

Brits tend to refer to anything with pontoons as a marina even if there is no provision for visitors and no reception - Olhão is the same and as you say it is officially a pleasure boat harbour and all the berths are fully occupied.
