Fantasy boat

Very nice, do you know the name? I’m interested to google more!
She's called Sobre las Olas. It would appear that she's for sale, but no indication of price. I suppose that if that's a question you ask before it's time to transfer the funds, you can't afford her

That would only work in the med in your fantasy house there.
In the uk it would go grey, green and grimy.
We're in fantasy land, so the boat's also self-cleaning - either that, or it's something my man takes care of. Of course, the Med would always be an option, too

IRL, I'm not sure which is the less probable

Are we reduced to complaining about the cost of servants these days? Never mind, there’ll be a robot for that soon.

And I'll tell it to revarnish the brightwork on the bridge and come back to find it's painted everything bright red...

😂 When my grandfather sailed out to Shanghai in 1929 on HMS Cornwall (which was to join the cruiser squadron on the far east station) , he took his valet, Milward, with him.

To while away the long hours on the voyage, Milward took to (amongst other things) polishing things on the bridge.

On more than one occasion, to my grandfather’s mortification, he asked the Captain to kindly remove his greasy fingers from his lovely brasswork…
