Is this a hull built up in Essex and you fit out yourself ? ,sure I have seen a fast fisher version with different topsides at Excel last year.
Basic bottom and top was about £25K + Vodka and Tonic

Looks like a Pearl 43 hull or possibly a Humber 42 which AFAIK had the same hull. Could this have been a repaired insurance write off? Agree it seems like a lot of money for a bare hull and the single engine installation will make it a bit of an orphan on the secondhand market

I might be wrong but I think I heard recently that the Colvic, Pearl 43 and Humber all came out of the same mould.

AFAIK, Colvic as a company went bust about 10yrs ago but they moulded many hulls for many different companies during the company's lifetime which is why quite a few boats have Colvic in their name. I think you may be right that the original Humber 42 was moulded by Colvic and it could be that the moulds ended up with Pearl after Colvic went under

This was the company I was thinking of.
Selfbuild
Fairly convinced that by the time you have bought hull and all fittings and bolted it all together the saving must be minimal and while you may have a boat that meets all your requirements it is going to prove almost impossible to sell due to having the name "homebuilt" attached,as for getting anything for all the time devoted over the contruction ?
My boat, put together over several decades, totalling up the invoices cost around £100K,the off the shelf boat show price was sub £30K
