I am planning to sail the boat down to Falmouth on Tuesday. Where would one suggest is a good place to rendevous with SWMBO who will be travelling down by car. The plan is for my crew to drive the car back.
Why not put into Falmouth Marina? Car park, easy to find (but to avoid the shallows look at the approach chart very carefully). It is a Premier Marina, all details and contact numbers will be on their website.I am planning to sail the boat down to Falmouth on Tuesday. Your profile doesn't say anything about your boat but if by chance you have more than one hull, avoid Mylor like the plague.
No, but I object strongly to tying up alongside occupying 40 ft of pontoon and being charged for 80ft.Why has it silted up. you have me worried, my mooring is of Mylor.

Falmouth marina would be my choice, ease of parking and with Premier you know what you are getting
As well as the above, you could tie up at the Town Marina which is central, and use the car park by the shops/museum only a short distance away, which is what we did recently when meeting someone - but for a short stay.
Thank you for all of the above. What has happened to the Port Falmouth Marina? Reeds mention it was due to open in late 2008.
