Was wondering if anyone knows of this boat or any history, it’s called XAVIER and is from the Poole area

If your serious about this boat perhaps a survey is your next course of action and you could then employ Volvo paul to do a sea trial and a full report of the machinery ? Having owned a t43 they are a great boat but get proper advice as some engine variants are more fragile than others

Thank you, yes I’m very serious, have instructed the broker to take it off the market and will then arrange a survey.

Who’s Volvo Paul?? Sounds like I need to hire this guy

Not sure if you are local to Poole, but if you want me to have a quick visual recce of it, I am happy to do so (I am at Cobbs too). Looks a nice condition boat from the pics.

I was going to say that I haven't seen it around but the pics are definitely at Cobbs Quay (some from fuel pontoon) and then in the 3rd pic on brokers site (see below) I spotted my own boat on top left of the pic!

Oh and a +1 for recommending Volvo Paul (did mechanical inspection / sea trial on my Targa 34 just over a year ago and has done all subsequent service work - in fact I've exchanged texts tonight about a small issue I had after someone else had worked on the electrics on my boat).

Can also recommend Nick Vass for survey of hull, ancillaries, etc and he often works with Volvo Paul (who covers the mechanicals) on surveys / sea trials and has surveyed my last two boats.

Now now Mr Explorer! You should know that we only change our mind every week now, not every day. Right now, we are keeping it, but next week........who knows? We'll be down Tuesday for a week - weather looks good for a few days, so see you then.
