Will someone point me towards a fairline targa 34. Budget is £130k. Ive seen the one at ValWyatt but for a 98 boat, I think it over priced. Any others around any one knows about?

Have you looked at the Targa 37? Fantastic boat IMHO and you should be able to get one within your budget if you look around and haggle.

Can't. Im on a berth restriction of 36'6. Im allowed to squeeze a targa into it but nothing bigger. To come out of the restricted area will cost me an extra £2500 per year.

Ive seen a Guernsey boat, y 2002. It is up for £139500 ex vat. Is this the one. Cant afford the vat sadly, but it does sound like a good boat.

Re.OK if not raining.

Cliff.Friend of mine has recently purchased this type of boat, although the next size up.ie 37ft .You are in a very strong position with this style of boat as there are loads about and tend to be an impulse buy((IMHO) in many cases.Get used a few times then get put up for sale. You can only use them for a few days each summer(ducks for cover)unless you dress up like an ice skier./forums/images/icons/laugh.gif.Why not consider something with a nice set of patio doors and a upstairs.
He paid 115K for a 1999 37 with 300 hrs. located in Nice.
Good hunting.

Re: Re.OK if not raining.

Strange, we managed to clock up about 130hours in 42 outings from March to November last season, and a similar tally in the (not so good) previous season.

Ski equipment stayed firmly indoors, but I would agree that a good hat does help.

Point is, do you like to be "outdoors" or not ? If I wasn't boating, I would be walking or cycling or something anyway in similar conditions. Some people prefer the "Driving your Lounge" experience: it's a personal choice thing.

He doesnt have a web site as they are service only but this is his own boat. That might be the one but if youi tell him what price you want to pay inc VAT then you can come to an agreement as he is not going to selll it over here at that price !

Only if Everest lowers itself to sea-level.

Also have fair amount of in-built insulation/blubber which helps. And most remaining hair has migrated to ears&nose, which doesn't help, hence the hat.

targa 29
targa 34
targa 37
assorted sunseekers
actually there was a monster targa 54?.....but that was of course snuggled up for the winter with all its covers on.............all those zips just waiting to jam/forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

Also brings to mind the sound of loads of zips being hastily done up,during a summer shower which persuaded the owner of the T34 parked next to me in a local creek to call it a day and go home/forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

Hardly any sunseekers in Chichester. I think you'll struggle to find a handfull either in or out of the water......
