Fairline - any news?

From what I understand, London Boat show will have a slightly different floor plan in jan....
Thats an enigmatic statement. What does that mean? Without drifting the thread too much, do you know which manufacturers will be at LIBS this time who haven't been there before or haven't been there in a while and vice versa which manufacturers who normally exhibit at LIBS but are not there this time?

For example I understand that Jeanneau are bringing their Prestige 680 this time which to me is a pretty positive statement of intent

Without appearing rude, why have they asked you to visit? As the Fairline Owner Club's owner or as their champion on this forum?

The former.

For the record, I don't get any kick backs or incentives from the factory for running my web site. They kindly let me use their logo and trademarks and occasionally provide me with technical drawings, e.g. for JTB's TARGA 40 badge. In the 2000 topics posted I don't think I've censored a single one and neither the factory or dealers have ever complained about any of the posts.

Regarding being their champion, I don't particularly regard myself in this way. All I do is try to put an alternative view and pass on info when I get it first hand from various sources. People can take or leave my input as they see fit.

Just think with all those suppliers on site Volvo will confirm the engines as good as new, The hour meters will suddenly start working all the internal corrosion will disappear and they will extend the warranty for another two years. Mercruiser may come along and offer you a 5 year warranty with a pair of discounted engine that would pay for themselves with the huge saving in servicing and maintenance cost over a few years
I think you are onto a winner do you need a persuasive project manager

Do you know a decent project manager then S?!

Pete, I have to say I really admire your loyalty and dedication to Fairline.:encouragement:

Ha ha!

I was going to say that nobody has mentioned the two (or perhaps three) international shows that FL have exhibited at since WB took over. Not to mention the fact that FL are building to order so the reality is that they don't have the boats to show (and the pool of customer boats being has truly diminished).
