Apologies for the blatent Fairline plug, but Fairline are holding an event in Mallorca to celebrate their 50th year of boat building....
---------------------------
To celebrate our 50th Anniversary we've planned something truly spectacular for 50 of our most passionate and dedicated Fairline customers - and that includes you!
The plan is to create photographic history by capturing a magnificent formation of 50 Fairline yachts assembled on the sparkling blue waters of the Balearic Sea… complete with a helicopter camera crew.
SO WHAT'S THE PLAN?
It's quite simple, really. We will all meet at the following coordinates on the 10th of June, at 4pm:
39°47.9'N 2°41.1'E
(We will be using channel 75 VHF to co-ordinate the day)
Once our fleet of 50 Fairline yachts are in place (undoubtedly a marvellous sight to behold), the helicopter camera crew will swing into action, capturing every moment on film.
IT'S A WRAP!
From there, we will all head back to Port Soller in a single glorious flotilla.
---------------------------
The celebrations will continue back at Soller with a band and no doubt lots of drinks. If anyone wants to join the fun, then contact your local Baldrick dealer. I believe JFM is steaming over, not sure I'll be there as I don't have a boat
(but I will be in the Baldricks at that time so may pitch up if there's drink involved).
