Fairey Huntress/ Huntsman or even Dell Quay Ranger

Does anyone have any advice when considering purchasing one of these classics.

Biggest problem I could have??

the biggest problems you will have will be:

a. wooden boats of some age now will require a fair effort to keep up the maintenance-fighting the rot!

b. Mechanical parts that are becoming old and tired and require renewal.

c. the constant need to pour money into a boat where you may not recoup your investment.

d. The fight to do the sensible thing, as opposed to owning a classic.

IMHo go for Huntress or Huntsman as these have a higher resale potential due to classic lineage.
