Extraordinary tale of survival

I think the idea is that your body can absorb water without taking up the salt, if it is administered via the, erm, back door.
No personal experience, I hasten to add!
Yes, everybody knows we shouldn't drink seawater. But our intestines can reverse-osmosis salt water. It was Mrs Robertsons' nursing skills and knowledge.

Oh Cmon, bend over darlings! I am going to use this turtle oil to get some moisture up your jacksy! 😲 I know it must get boring in a dinghy but can,t you count fish or something 🤣 I'm not surprised the father abstained from the fingering🤣Somebody had to keep their dignity 🤣

Can you do us a favour and pump a litre of water? I would be interested to know how long it takes and how much physical effort is involved.
You’d need to produce far more than a litre at a time if your wife is anything like mine. Even in a liferaft survival situation she’d be hard pressed to use less than 30 litres a day on showering and making sure the raft was kept clean— inside and out. I’ve often wondered if the simplest solution would be to kill & eat her in survival conditions, fresh meat and no water wastage.

4 litres an hours according to their video, 1 litre for 15 minutes of what looks to be quite strenuous, physical effort but at least you have potable water.

And how much water one would sweat from the effort of pumping that one litre?
Hopefully less than one litre, but how much less?
