OK..here is a good one for you all.

As soem of you may know i have a Dophin Petrol Engine. Now this has a dry exhaust as it's keel cooled.

My current exhaust is 3 meters of 28mm copper pipe. The problem is that it has several compression joints in it. This type of plumbing setup is not designed to get this hot and therefore it works loose. So the end result is that some of the joints part company on a regular basis.

What i want is something flexiable that is no larger than approx 28mm and can take the heat...(car exhaust temps).

I can find anything...HELP..!!!!

What most professionals do is to make the pipe up using flexible exhaust, the spiral type.
When they've got it to the roght shpe and running fair they wrap it in plaster of paris bandage until it's got a wall thicknes of about 10-15mm.
That lasts as long as most engines, doesn't get too hot and, unless it's hit by something sharp and heavy, never leaks.

Its possible to buy steel and stainless steel flexable pipe in several sizes. The last time I bought from a comercial van garage.

To digress slightly from your posting; I recently looked at a boat that had a nice keel cooling installation which had a raw water inlet and pump dedicated solely to cooling the exhaust, It fed into the exhaust pipe by a half inch pipe brazed in the usual place just after the manifold. This might offer an alternative solution in your situation.
