I have circumvented such problems by making sure it is in the water. Someone did say they thought it was just resting on the bottom, but that is very unlikely. I'm sure.
 
Dear Mr LS,

I fear that the gas bottle / supply does not meet current Legislation. May I respectfully suggest that you negotiate on this point, you should be able to get a few pence off the purchase price.

It's also very important to bear in mind that the antifoul may not be appropriate for fresh water, once you move it closer to home.

A thoroughly commendable project.

Well I happen to think this thread is completely wrong. Sarcasm is simply an attempt to undermine someone by agreeing with them insincerely; by inferring that their ideas are not only wrong, but lack the plausibility to even consider in the first place.

I could mock the "beautiful" apology of an ensign Lakey is flying from his "Chip-and-Dale" superstructure, or his "Lloyds A1" starboard deck-stringer. But I really don’t think the PBO forum is the right place to do it.

Why so negative everyone? I have taken on projects before and I appreciate the OP taking this on.

All the negative comments are from fiberglass boat owners I'll bet ;) (tongue in cheek comment because my boat's fiberglass) but my heart is with wooden boats and I love to see something getting restored. Let the 'tupperware boat' owners have their day, post pics of the restoration process and prove them wrong ;)

Shouldn't this be in the Classic & Wooden Boats section??? Anyhoo I can donate half a tin of blue paint and some auld sheets of sandpaper to keep you going. My mate say's his work is happy to sponsor this exciting project by supplying screws, bolts and an auld stove. Are you having a party onboard?

You'll never get a fishing boat on a wee dolly. It'll take something the size of a low loader.

I guess you will be requiring balsa wood for the trailer if it is to be unbraked?
 
Strangely it is a 750 kg trailer but has brakes. This could be useful to those people who fondly think their cars can tow an unbraked trailer up to 750 kgs. It is not always so.

Aha! I have seen the link. Now I know the use of the fine vessel pictured, it is actually a modern day Arc and is intended to win the Mount Arrat trial through the normal process of being dumped on the top!
