Ericson 35

My Brother and I have recently purchased an Ericson 35 which is in quite poor condition. We are hoping to renovate it over the Winter in time for the 2007 season. Does anyone have any experience of this type of yacht/ any comments on its performance and handling. Thanks.

Ericson was bought out a while back by Pacific Seacraft. They still provide some support, I believe.

They have some information about Ericsons on the home page.

They are indeed an american design, but were sold in UK during 1973/74. Very popular in US and good off shore performer. An Ericson 35 won it's class in the 2004 singlehanded TransPac.
