My boat was broken into along with three others in Llansteffan near Carmarthen on the River Towy sometime over the weekend of 22nd and 23rd September 2012.
Equipment lost amounted to several thousand pounds between the three.... They stole my Northstar 657 Chartplotter with Atlantic Coasts C-Map , a large yellow 'Undersea Ltd' Diving Torch, Fluke Multimeter, Albinar Binos (7x50) My large toolkit with loads of stainless fittings inc. bottle screws etc. Guy Cotten Yellow Oilskins, and a sheath knife.
A lesson learnt the hard way... I'll be leaving nothing of value aboard the boat from now on... In fact I can't, because there's nothing of value left!
If anyone gets offered the Chart Plotter without any ancillaries... Please let me know! Police are aware but sadly I had no contents insurance. (another lesson learnt
