English/French marina charges compared

There was an article in one of the yachting magazines during the winter which compared marina charges on both sides of the Channel and explained some of the reasons for lower costs in France. Can anyone tell me where it was and when please?

Remember to factor in Ferry costs.

If your chosen French marina requires taking your car over as well then I think the financial benefits are largely negated.

I did some speculative internet bookings for the Portsmouth/St Malo route based on 4 adults + car with one overnight leg. Suddenly Barcelona Marina + EasyJet seemed like an attractive combination!

I would be interested to hear how long a journey can be purchased in northwest France for say 60 Euro? (Let's assume this is a pre arranged private hire booking).
