Engine wanted

My volvo AQ110 has reached the end of it's life, so I'm looking for a
replacement.
Anyone in the Dorset area got anything suitable for sale in the 100 to 140
hp range, (e.g. AQ140 etc.)?

Have you thought about a factory reconditioned engine from Mermaid, reasonably priced and nearby.

Igot my sweaty little mitts on a ford puma lump out of the new transit. Not the same as the lancing one as its got leccy injection and a bigger turbo. Something like that will easily give you 140 odd horses. Cheap on bits and pieces too.

Cheers Steve, we must arrange the beer, I'm just getting impatient as it's half way through January and no engine in the boat, I can see April approaching and time's getting short.
I thought I'd stick another cheep petrol engine in for this summer and prepare the tranny engine ready for next winter.

got to be honest, iv'e been considering similar... chucking in a pair of 1800 sierra petrols.. especially if we're going to be paying tax on diesel soon.

just give me a chance to get the rest of the boat up together, before sorting decent diesels at a later date.
