Ditto. Great car, 33mpg around real stop and start town work 40-44 on autoroutes depending on 80 or 100 mph cruise. Quiet and pokey enough for all general purposes.
Prev had 190E 2.5-16 Cosworth and that went like a dingbat did 130K in it and would still have it if SWMBO could master the mandatory 2nd alarm system.
So it's got to be a Merc or a Porsche (but they were rude to tcm when a kid) - only things that can stand hard fast work.
BMW - hmm - my attitude is "If you buy a BMW it says how much money you have. If you buy a Merc it says how much sense you have"
