So no data to back yourself up then? Out of interest, are the Chinese fleet coming through the Panama canal or rounding the Horn to get to central Europe? Seems a bit of a trek when they have the whole of the Pacific to fish in. And yes, I generally report racist or xenophobic propaganda, it spreads hate and causes problems accross the globe. This is a sailing forum and it's not welcome here.

I'm quite certain they do. Similar things were happening in the UK a few years ago where people were led down a path and being told foreigners were causing problems and the mob all agreed it was a good thing. We are where we are, but I prefer that stuff not to play out on a sailing forum. There are plenty of forums for such talk.

In the Pacific?! It could be due to them being responsible, of course. Unlike those countries in the Med, particularly the European side who are not slowing at all.

Overfishing is a worldwide problem the med probably shows some of the worst.
Some Pacific islands have problems as well.
