Over the weekend I was fitting a new Nasa Clipper Wind speed indicator, rather than drill two large holes for the 5 pin connector, I detached the cable from the sender to feed it up from the bottom of the mast. I carefully recorded where each of the 5 wires went and the installation wend perfectly.
When I came to re-solder the wires I looked at my sketch to find: -

BL RD WH SCR BL

Unfortunately I couldn't remember which of the BL's was blue and which Black (old age is setting in rapidly I'm afraid)

Can anyone please improve the odd's of everything working from evens to 100% by telling me which is which?

Thanks

Richard

You could try working from the other end and see if you can identify where the wires go to and to what pin or socket numbers etc.
Alternatively contact
nasamarine@kbnet.co.uk

Sorry I don't know enough about the kit to be of more help. Next time stick a k on the BLK wire! (We have all done it at some time).

I dont have the info here but I had a wire broken off in the masthead unit and just one phone call to NASA as John has sugested gave the answer in seconds from an engineer.
