Just got round to starting a small job of installing a serial port connection on the nav table so we upload/download info from GPS to laptop.
In an effort to keep the wiring simple, tidy and accessible I would like to break the wiring with a connector for future maintenance. I do not want to use a chocolate block connector and am not a great fan of bullet connectors on small gauge cable.
I recall somebody on another thread saying use BT telephone connectors, question is are they suitable, and can anyone tell me where I can get male and female ones, best the guy at the electrical wholesalers came up with, was buy a BT socket for the female side.
Thanks in Advance
