Can someone please tell me why I have suddenly got, at the top RHS of my recent posts, a box saying "edit". What am I doing wrong, apart from writing rubbish that is, or is it an unsubtle hint from "our leader" telling me to shut up?/forums/images/icons/smile.gif

only appears on posts you have made and is only "open" for use for 1 hour after you made the post.

This is so that you can wait for a reply and then change your post completely so that the replying poster looks like an absolute idiot or of course to correct bad spelling,/grammar add additional comments etc.

That's why on some posts, it says "Edited by.... "

Thanks very much. So much for my awareness , as I've never noticed it before !
Anyway, arn't you meant to be somewhere else, I thought you had "gone" ?
