If you're new around here, or thought you'd be otherwise engaged, there are still a few crew places left for the most important sailing event of the rest of the year, Scuttlebutt's trip to the fleshpots of Cherbourg.

Most boats will be leaving S. Coast on Friday 24th September, returning Sunday 26th. Jollities in Chbg on Saturday evening.

re Foie Gras there is currently a Lot Vallley Food Festival in Covent Garden and at least one stall flogging the stuff; many selling wine, cheese, honey......bugger it I am off there now!
