I have read a lot about Eastlands Boatyard on this forum recently. Here is a personal view from a keen boater who has kept 5 boats there over the last 10 years.
We have never had any problem! Any time we have bought a new (and larger) boat, Tim has accommodated us. When we have had the inevitable boating problems he has done his best to help us, getting us lifted out to get work done and lifted back in the water so we could get away on holiday. There is plenty of room to keep your boat out of the water for maintenance and Nick is always around to give advice on how to do your anti fouling correctly.
We feel reasonably safe with the electronic gates and CCTV. We like the quick access from the main roads and the view towards the country park up river is superb.

We are moving there from Poole next week weather permitting, I know it hasn't worked out for some people but we are excited about being in the Solent and really looking forward to it. We will miss being able to walk round to CQ Chandlers or the Co-op for food and wine but hopefully the views from the berth will make up for it as well as not being battered by the South Westerlies as in our previous berth, Most of our boating will be midweek so hopefully we will miss the Hamble Scramble. So if you see a Princess 286 looking a little lost on the Hamble next week, that will be us

EDIT actually Saturday might be good to move as there may be a short weather window appearing

There are many beautiful places to have your boat, some of the pictures on this forum from the peeps up in Scotland are magical... but for us southerners, the Hamble offers easy access to the Solent in pretty much all conditions and therefore access to all the stomping grounds the Solent has to offer, I am sure you will have a good boating season :)

.............you never know, if our margins don't pick up soon, next year I might be re-locating to Eastlands from Mercury

Just had last 12 months there, ok but isolated for pubs, chandlery, supplies etc.

Nice view over countrypark, pontoons nice and new, very well kept tidy yard.

M27 very noisey though, long walk to boat too, very poor tv reception due to bridge.

2 attempted thefts of dinghy and outboard whilst there from thief aboard another boat.

Dont cut the corner above foulkes yard at near low water.
