Easter beer of choice??

Sharps Atlantic is one of my current beers of choice. Other than that I have loads of 330ml Lager Cans, as they dont take up so much space. Camden Hells is my all time favourite.

Atlantic for me too.
Mind you and this maybe more London thing but I am sick of going into a pub to find nothing but new image IPA and APA ...none of which I can stand.

I developed a taste for Courage ales in the metropolis. The other day I had some pints of Courage Best, a beer I had not seen for many a year.
Blow me it is now brewed in Bedford, I didn't even know the London brewery had closed down.

Totally agree with the new image IPA comment. I think people should face prosecution for drinking the fruit beers!!

+1 on the fruit beers.

Have to confess that I quite like some of the new IPAs - Brewdog being one brand that I have developed a penchant for :)

When I was apprentice in the shipyard, me and some other apprentices were discussing where we going out and ruled out one pub because we didn’t like the beer , at which stage one of the old workers ( who would be about my age now) said and I quote “you younguns are talking shite, there only two types of beer , the good stuff and the other type that’s not quite as good “ then he went back to his pipe , he was a man of few word, but after a few minutes he then added “but never drink in a pub where the landlord doesn’t drink the beer”. That was longest conservation any of us had ever had with him.

But the beer for me is York Guzzler and another is The Revereand James.Another favourite is Timothy Taylor’s boltmaker

I was up in Derbyshire last week and tried a beer that was new to me, Scrum Down, it was as smooth as Guiness with a creamy head and amber in colour with a hint of citrus leaving a very crisp fresh taste.
