SWMBO can't get on Wednesdays, as she helps with the little darlings at our local Girls' Brigade. Be nice to have swmbos along, maybe try a different night of the week sometime and see if I can drag mine out. If there's nice food (and no cooking) involved it won't be too difficult.
 
I have new model /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif well maybe not so much a "model"
havent asked her yet but sure she would attend and probably join in the non-boaty talk
though she did spend a bit of time river boating a few years back
 
OK guys, I'm back from a hectic couple of weeks swapping boats. Firstly, I cannot make the 7th, but don't let that stop you all from getting together (what do you mean "it bloody well wouldn't !").

BigNick is correct, we have bought a stinkpot (though it really doesn't smoke much at all!). He was nearly correct in that the Sea Lion, is of course, a Sealine (no prizes for guessing that!), a Sealine S37 to be precise. We have owned one before, so know the boat well, but this one is a 4 year old beauty, (genny, aircon etc etc, and seriously like new!!)

Poor old "Prophecy" is now on the hard stuff (like it's owner) in Hythe, and on the market - there was a tear in Mrs Nicho's eye when I took her round to the hoist bay (the boat that is, not Mrs Nicho.......). At least she's close by so that we can keep her in pristine condition for the next owner (not many around at present!!)

The reason I can't make it on the 7th, is we are off for 10 days in the new toy, and that date falls smack in the middle. I could make the 12/13/14/15th, but don't change things if not suitable (there you go again..... "we bloody well wouldn't")

OK,

Lets go for the 14th instead... same venue.... I'll give them a call to make sure that they are OK for bar food that evening, as it can get quite busy...... (v popular)

All ok.
First Champions League match for the mighty blues is the night before.

I am going to book room for the night so if date gets cancels please send PM quickly.
Will be nice to meet some forumites.
