I am seeking a drying wall somewhere on the south coast to avoid a summer lift out to do hull maintanence work etc, does anyone know a good place for this? It’s a 34ft LOA with a long keel draught 1.5m
Where in LittlehamptonLittlehampton has piles
Well they used to be on the West Bank just below the Arjun Ycahct Club, laid there with a 40 footerWhere in Littlehampton
Where exactly in Bosham please ? Would you have a what3words reference at all ?Bosham might suit. It has a concrete base and stone walls with timber baulks as "fenders". Newport under the flyover might be an alternative, but the bottom's a bit muddy. I wouldn't consider either for a long stay, but for a few days either could do. For facilities, it's Newport, but Bosham's so much prettier, so I know where I'd go. Neither has a chandlery nearby
Yes and plenty of choice of places to dry out that size and type of boat except in Poole where there is insufficient range of tide and no public walls or gridsGosh, the south coast could be anywhere between Land's End and Dover.
