Passing over Caversham Bridge this afternoon I glimpsed a Steamer moored just a few feet upstream of the bridge by the Hotel. This set me wondering, have they dredged that spot? As I remember it there was only a few inches of water just there.

Isn't there a fixed jetty built there in the last few years which is set out from the original bank, it was probably moored against that.

Possibly Chris, I don't know, I don't get out these days, only locally. I didn't even go through a Lock this year. What yyou say sounds logical though. Thanks.

The EA? Dredging?
Tell me the one about the Tooth Fairy - I am sure you believe in that, too!
