That pontoon could do with some good cleaning.

Even if I had £10m I don’t think I would be interested.

If I had a billion, then I would consider it, but I would also consider the fact that I was displacing the locals - but with billions, I would pay a local to live there, look after the place and let me have it for a fortnight a year perhaps.

I will never have billions, so I will be a tourist and enjoy Falmouth as such and give them my money as a tourist and wish them well.

Our house with pontoon jetty and vacant waterfront block next door to park our toys cost well under 400,000 pounds!
Whilst located in South Australia it is still outstandingly cheap even by Australian Standards.
House was a 2 storey 8 year old 4 bed 2 bath 2 kitchen residence in a small 110 home marina development on a side lake of the Murray River near Lake Alexandria which an English friend noted is a bigger crossing than the English Channel and we purchased only 2 years ago. Likely still under 500,000 pounds for both now!
Yes that is our local boat ramp across the canal and 350metres away by car mast up on our yacht on its trailer due to underground power in the development.
