I believe he rents out 3 spaces in Packet Quays which is only about 30m away. Interestingly there is a building in front of it on the High St (which formed part of the original plot sale) that has pie in planning to convert part to a garage. I’m sure it could be available for the right price.

A slipway with no vehicular access? About as useful as a fireman's pole in a bungalow.
A pole in a bungalow would be quite good. One can get the mistress to do a work out
Much better than one of those exercise bikes :D :D
If the wife found it one could say that it was to support the aeriated concrete roof structure against collapse:rolleyes:

I had such a property (16Th century & close to collapse) & built a new one alongside. I won the European Architectural Heritage Year Award for the final effort. The award was signed by the Duke of Edinburgh himself. Eventually I joined the 2 together. But planning was a nightmare.

Not sure they can claim access to that slipway as private, there’s a public right of way from the High St down to the water and another on the next ope too.
