Whatever else you think about the large yacht charter business based in Port Solent you have to admire their optimism.

I have it on good authority that the boat that sank on the brambles, despite currently having a huge hole in the stern and no keel, has been entered for Cowes week.

They are probably thinking only of the money they would lose that week. Not the quality of the repair. (not intended as a derogatory comment against the repairers.)

Well it is probably possible to re-fit in time for Cowes but I think it is very optimistic thinking, mind you they can probably throw quite a lot of money at.

Did any one know that the founder of Sunsail has been buying pubs up in the Chichester area recently? He just bought a pub in Bosham.

No keel????
What happened to that then??
Last photo I saw, it was standing up on it's keel with a floaty thing tied to the tippy top of the mast (just above the water)
