An easy one pot wonder I always have the ingredients for:
Boil 2 or 3 hand full of pasta (any shape) until 'al dente'. Tip in a tin of drained tuna and a tin of tomatoes (chopped up) or if feeling really flash a small jar of 'ragu' type sauce. Eat (often from the pan).
I can do posh, just often don't bother when solo!
Most canned meats I have seen are too much for one and with no refrigeration (other than putting in the keel) I am not keen trying to keep opened food too long.
